Over 50% of women say their body disgusts them (Dove Internal Study, 2002)

A few days ago I was standing in front of the mirror, as I'm sure many of us have, and I was shaming myself by putting down the parts of my body that I found to be less than ideal. It's horrible but I know so many people do this on a regular basis. I'm not to be discluded from the bunch.

So, heavily influenced by Gok Wan and Stacy and Clinton, I started thinking of ways that I could maybe feel better about myself. And I thought this to myself:

What feature do I like most about my body? And I thought of my legs. Please don't think of this as conceit or narcissm, it's purely a little self-love which I beleive a lot of us need a little more of.

I've made myself a challenge to ask all my friends what their favourite body feature is and then I will proceed to photograph that, if they let me. So expect more self-love! <3
